A 74-year-old man will go on trial on Thursday accused of murdering a woman whose body was found in a wooded area in Cork 42 years ago.

Noel Long with an address at Maulbawn, Passage West, Co Cork was arraigned before the Central Criminal Court on Wednesday afternoon.
