A second teenager has been spared a custodial sentence for attacking a Chinese woman who was pushed into a canal in Dublin after she stood up to youths making racial insults.

Video footage of the incident went viral on social media site TikTok almost three years ago. It showed the woman remonstrating with boys who laughed as she was suddenly shoved into the Royal Canal after she was subjected to racial taunts.
