Witness appeal launched as two men injured following serious Kildare assault

Emergency services attended the scene following reports of an altercation involving a group of people at the entrance of a premises.

Gardaí in Kildare are appealing for witnesses to the assault, which took place at Dublin Road, Monasterevin at around 12.30am.

A man in his 20s is in a critical condition in hospital following an assault in Kildare overnight which also saw a man in his early 50s sustain facial injuries.
