A hospital has apologised to a young couple for the “deficits in care” after their baby died four days after his birth.

Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda, Co Louth, in a letter read to the High Court said it would like to sincerely apologise “for the deficits in care that were highlighted “ in the review after the death of baby Danny Ryan five years ago.
