Carrigaline murder accused remanded in custody

John Murphy Jnr is charged with the murder of his brother Shane Murphy, pictured, in Carrigaline, Co Cork.

The man charged with murdering his brother and trying to murder his father at the family home has been remanded in custody until April 20.

John Murphy Jnr, aged 42, of Seaview Avenue, Carrigaline, Co Cork, appeared by video link from prison at Cork District Court charged with the murder of his 27-year-old brother, Shane Murphy.
