Woman facing eviction from hostel slapped garda across face 

Management had called gardaí when former residents refused to vacate premises

Gardaí were called when the women refused to leave the hostel.

Management at a hostel in Cork had to call gardaí because two women refused to vacate the premises but one of them responded by slapping a garda across the face.

Chantelle McInerney, who had been living at Oscar’s Hostel on Lower Glanmire Road, was no longer resident there on March 31 last year but she was present in Room 106 and refusing to leave.
