Mr Justice Paul McDermott sent the jury home just after lunchtime on Friday after one of the jurors was taken ill.

The jury in a nine-week child abuse trial has been sent home for the bank holiday weekend and will resume their deliberations on Tuesday.

Mr Justice Paul McDermott sent the jury home just after lunchtime on Friday after one of the jurors was taken ill. He said he would hopefully see them all again after the long weekend.
