Man charged with assaults on two people in Clonakilty

When cautioned by garda after arrest, accused asked: 'Is this about the knife?'

A man has been charged with two assaults on people in Clonakilty, Co Cork, and of being in possession of a blade.

Marlon Corrigan, who has been staying at Nordav Guesthouse in Tawnies, Clonakilty, appeared before Bandon District Court, having been arrested on Sunday.
