A jury was yesterday sworn in to hear the case against two brothers accused of different assaults, damage and burglary-type charges but moments later a key witness in the case said: “I don’t want to give any evidence in court today.”
This followed evidence from Detective Sergeant Mike Hogan that the woman who was due to give evidence for the prosecution had also indicated to him that she was not willing to come to court to give evidence.
