Gardaí seized €160,000 in cash from a man during a vehicle search in Athlone.

Gardaí have arrested a man during a search in Athlone where they found €160,000 cash concealed in the vehicle.

The man, aged 21, was stopped during a search under the Misuse of Drugs Act, shortly after 9.30pm on April 2.
