Tesco's insurers offer €10k to young brothers who drank out-of-date milk

It was agreed in court the offer was high but counsel did not think that was a matter with which the court could concern itself.

The boys suffered vomiting and diarrhoea after they drank it a day after it was bought.

Two young brothers, who got sick after drinking out-of-date milk from Tesco, have been offered €10,000 in compensation.

The brothers, both minors, sued Tesco Ireland Limited, through their mother.
