Man hospitalised with serious injuries after Dublin assault

He was discovered shortly before 2am this morning in O'Rourke Park and taken to St Vincent's Hospital with serious injuries.

The man was aged in his early 20s. 

Another young male in his early 20s was arrested at the scene and detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984.

He is being held at Dun Laoghaire Garda Station. 

Investigations are continuing.
