Both gardaí who became seriously ill while handling confiscated vapes believed to contain cannabinoids have now been released from hospital, gardaí have confirmed.

The two gardaí were sorting through the seized vapes as evidence in a storeroom at Edenderry Garda Station, Co Offaly, on Wednesday when they became ill.
