Body of teenage girl recovered at Burrow Beach

A teenage girl died in the water at Burrow Beach in Co Dublin on Sunday evening. 

Gardaí attended the scene of the incident and assisted the Coast Guard in a large search operation. 

The popular beach was busy throughout Sunday, as people took advantage of soaring temperatures. 

The body of the teenager was recovered from the water and removed from the scene. 

It is understood that the girl's death is being treated as a tragic incident, and no foul play is suspected.
