Emergency services respond to hotel fire in Meath as guests evacuated

Emergency services have evacuated a hotel in Meath after a fire broke out earlier today.

In a post online, the Glenside Hotel in Julianstown confirmed that “thankfully everybody is safe and well”.

Management said: “Due to a fire, the Glenside Hotel is closed until further notice. 

“We are sorry to say that we are closed until further notice. Thankfully everybody is safe and well.

“We are working towards contacting all of our bookings as soon as possible. Please bear with us. We’ll be in contact with our bookings and customers as soon as possible.

“Thank you for your well wishes”.
