Watch: Scores gather at Bessborough to protest the approval of plans for 140 apartments on the site

A vigil was held at the gates of the former Bessborough Mother and Baby Home in Cork, where scores gathered to protest Cork City Council’s approval of plans for 140 apartments on the site. Campaigner and survivor Noelle Browne, spoke of her disbelief that the development could be considered while the burial places of 923 children who died at the home remain unknown.
