Woman arrested in connection with murder of toddler Daniel Aruebose released without charge
Daniel, born in December 2017, died sometime in 2021. He was around three and a half years old at that time. His skeletal remains were in Donabate, north Dublin, on September 17.
A woman who was arrested by gardaí investigating the murder of Dublin toddler Daniel Aruebose has been released without charge.
Daniel, born in December 2017, died sometime in 2021. He was around three and a half years old at that time. His remains were discovered in Donabate, north Dublin, on September 17 earlier this year.
A murder investigation was launched by gardaí earlier this month, before what would have been his eighth birthday.
A woman, aged in her 20s, was arrested on suspicion of murder on Monday and was detained under provisions of Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984.
In an update on Tuesday morning, gardaí said the woman has been released without charge. A file will now be sent to the Director of Public Prosecutions.
"Investigations are ongoing," the spokesperson added.
When it launched its murder investigation, gardaí said: “Members of the public are urged not to assume that gardaí already possess information they may hold, or that any detail is too small or insignificant.
“The investigation team will determine the relevance of any information provided.
