Israeli president calls out motion to rename Dublin park

Israeli President Isaac Herzog has called out the proposed removal of the name of former Israeli president and his father Chaim Herzog from a park in Dublin.

Dublin city councillors will vote on a motion this Monday to rename Herzog Park in Rathgar, which was named after Belfast-born Chaim Herzog in 1995 who spent part of his childhood in Dublin.
