Two dead after crash involving coach and car in Co Fermanagh

Two men have died following a collision involving a coach and a car in Co Fermanagh.

The Bus Eireann coach and a Ford Kuga were involved in the crash on the Derrylin Road near Enniskillen on Friday evening.

The two occupants of the Ford Kuga were pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

There were no reports of any serious injuries to the driver or passengers of the bus.

A PSNI spokesperson said: “The Police Service of Northern Ireland can confirm that two men have sadly died following a road traffic collision in Enniskillen on Friday, November 28.

“Shortly after 7pm, we received a report of a collision involving a Ford Kuga and a bus on the Derrylin Road.

“Officers attended, alongside emergency service partners, however the two occupants of the Kuga were pronounced deceased at the scene.

“There have been no reports of any serious injuries to the driver or passengers of the bus at this time.

“The Derrylin Road remained closed for some time overnight, but reopened on Saturday morning, November 29.

“Our enquiries are continuing, and we would appeal to anyone who witnessed the collision, or who may have digital footage which could assist with our investigation, to contact the Collision Investigation Unit on 101, quoting reference number 1276 of 28/11/25.” People can also submit a report online via http://www.psni.police.uk/makeareport/ or call Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.

The coach involved was Bus Eireann’s Dublin to Donegal service.

A statement said: “Bus Eireann can confirm that yesterday evening one of our Expressway Route 30 services was involved in a serious road traffic collision involving another vehicle in the Derrylin Road area of Enniskillen, Co Fermanagh.

“Emergency services and Bus Eireann personnel attended the scene.

“The safety of our passengers, staff and the public is of paramount importance to Bus Eireann.

“We will provide any assistance required to the relevant authorities.”
