Man, 60s, dies in incident at Tayto Snacks Ltd factory in Meath

A spokesperson for the HSA told the Irish Examiner it is aware of the fatal incident and has launched an investigation into the matter.

The Health and Safety Authority (HSA) has launched an investigation after a contractor died in an incident at the Tayto Snacks Ltd factory in Ashbourne, Co Meath, on Tuesday morning.

Tayto Snacks Ltd said the deceased, a man in his 60s, was an employee of an independent potato supplier.
