Mutiple fatalities following two vehicle crash in Dundalk 

The incident happened on the L3188 in Gibstown, Dundalk shortly after 9pm.

Multiple people have died following a collision involving two vehicles in Co Louth on Saturday night. 

The incident happened on the L3188 in Gibstown, Dundalk shortly after 9pm.

A garda spokesperson said a number of fatalities have occured and that "the vehicles and bodies of the deceased all remain at the scene." 

A number of people have also been taken to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda. 

The L3168 between the N52 and the R171 remains closed for gardaí to carry out a technical examination of the scene. 

Gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this collision to contact them.

Any road users who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) and were traveling on the L3168, Ardee Road, Dundalk, Co. Louth between 8.30pm and 9.15pm on the night of Saturday 15th November, 2025 are asked to make this footage available to investigating gardaí.
