Woman, 60s, in serious condition after being run over by van in Cork City

A female pedestrian in her 60s is in a serious condition in Cork University Hospital after being run over by a van in Cork City. 

The incident occurred in Wednesday at the junction of Anglesea Street and Anglesea Terrace at around 3.30pm. No other injuries were reported.

Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.

Any road users who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) and were travelling on Anglesea Street and Anglesea Terrace between 3.15pm and 3.45pm are asked to make this footage available to investigating Gardaí.
