Woman, 80s, dead after collision in Donegal

A woman in her 80s has died after a crash in Donegal.
Gardaí were called to the scene of the single-vehicle crash on the R262 at Tullnaglaggin at around 4pm on Wednesday afternoon
The woman was pronounced dead at the scene. Her body has been removed from the area.
A man, aged in his 80s, was taken to Letterkenny University Hospital to be treated for injuries believed to be non-life threatening.
The road is closed and will remain so overnight and into Thursday morning. An examination of the scene will be conducted by garda forensics at that stage.
Gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the crash to contact them.
A spokesperson said: "Any road users who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) who were travelling in the area between 3:30pm and 4:00pm are asked to make this footage available to investigating Gardaí.
"Anyone with any information is asked to contact Ballyshannon Garda Station on 071 985 8530, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any Garda Station."
