Man, 50s, hospitalised after serious assault in Dublin — A man, aged in his 50s, was brought to the Mater Misericordiae University Hospital and has since been transferred to Beaumont Hospital, where he remains in a serious condition.

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to a serious assault in Dublin.

Officers were called to the incident near Fairview Park on Wednesday evening.
