Individuals who attacked gardaí during a riot in Citywest on Tuesday night must be dealt with “robustly”, Taoiseach Micheál Martin has said.

At leaders’ questions on Wednesday, Mr Martin said “innocent people” and their neighbourhoods were threatened by the riot.
