Man, 30s, arrested following €14m cocaine seizure

Revenue seize cocaine with an estimated value of €14.2 million in Rosslare

A man has been arrested following the seizure of €14.2m worth of cocaine at Rosslare Europort. 

The suspected drugs, which weigh 202.5 kg, were found following the search of a lorry after it left a ferry, which came in from Dunkirk, France, on Saturday evening. 

The man in his 30s is currently being detained under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act, 1996, at a Garda Station in Co. Wexford.

"Investigations are ongoing," a garda spokesperson said.
