Gaza, immigration, and housing crop up as presidential hopefuls clash in first major debate

Fine Gael presidential candidate Heather Humphreys has questioned whether or not passing the Occupied Territories Bill would make a difference to the ongoing genocide in Gaza.

During the first debate of the presidential campaign, Ms Humphreys was questioned about the Israeli war in Gaza, describing it as “genocide” and criticising the “man-made famine” in the Palestinian territory.
