SSE Airtricity to hike electricity prices with average of €151 added to annual bills

Yet another energy firm has announced a hike to electricity bills, with SSE Airtricity the latest to announce an increase that will see an average of €151 added to annual bills.

It follows recent announcements from Bord Gáis Energy, Pingery, Flogas, and Energia to all raise their prices heading into winter, as the energy regulator has warned that the level of arrears is already trending at “historically” high levels.
