Dublin Fire Brigade tackle blaze near IFSC

Emergency services have responded to a fire near the International Financial Services Centre (IFSC) in Dublin city.

Dublin Fire Brigade responded to a fire that broke out near the IFSC this Tuesday evening.

Three fire engines are on the scene at George's Dock.

"Firefighters are using 70mm hose to control the fire and cool adjacent exposures," Dublin Fire Brigade said on social media.

Gas Networks Ireland (GNI) also attended the scene of the blaze.

In a statement, GNI confirmed their crew were on site.

"A Gas Networks Ireland crew is on site assisting fire services at an incident in the IFSC in Dublin 1. It is not yet known at this stage whether the cause of the fire is gas-related," read the statement.
