E-scooter driver, 30s, killed in Dublin crash
Gardaí have issued an appeal for witnesses.
A man in his 30s has died in a crash involving an e-scooter and a vehicle in Dublin.
Gardaí and emergency services personnel attended the scene of the collision, which happened on the Old Navan Road in Blanchardstown, Dublin 15, at approximately 10.50pm on Sunday night.
The driver of the e-scooter, a man aged in his 30s, was removed from the scene to James Connolly Hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
No other injuries were reported.
The road where the crash took place was closed for a a time to facilitate a technical examination of the scene by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators but it has since reopened.
Gardaí have issued an appeal for witnesses.
Any road users with camera footage who were travelling in the area between 10.40pm and 11pm on Sunday night has been asked make this footage available.
