The introduction of a 200% tariff rate on pharmaceutical imports to the United States would damage pharma companies and patients, Taoiseach Micheál Martin has said.

Earlier this week, US president Donald Trump signalled tariffs against the pharmaceutical industry, saying such a rate could be as high as 200% for imports into the US.
