Government accused of 'stalling' on medical evacuation of Gazan children to Ireland

Children in Gaza awaiting medical evacuation to Ireland are being forced to wait "an eternity" and some have died at the hands of Israeli forces, the Dáil has been told.

The transport of at least 18 children previously authorised to come to Ireland has been delayed by reported visa issues, though the Government has insisted there is no delay.
