Man, 40s, dies following three-car collision in Co Galway
 Gardaí are now appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the incident to come forward.
A man has died and two others were hospitalised following a three-car collision in Co Galway on Sunday.
The crash occurred at Clareview Park, Ballybane at around 2.50pm.
Gardaí said that the driver of one of the vehicles, a man aged in his 40s, was in a collision with two other cars.
All three drivers were brought to University Hospital Galway, where the man subsequently died as a result of a medical condition.
There were no other injuries reported.
The local coroner has been notified, and an autopsy will be carried out. The results of the autopsy will determine whether the medical condition was as a result of the collision.
Gardaí are now appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the incident to come forward.
In a statement, a Garda spokesperson said: "Road users who were in the Clareview Park between 2.30pm and 3pm and may have camera footage, including dash-cam recordings, are asked to make it available to investigating gardaí.
