Cabinet hears update on electric grid, as well as plans to bolster service

Increasing the stock of spare parts for the electricity network and creating forestry corridors around power lines are among the measure being rolled out to prevent the type of damage caused by Storm Éowyn in the future.

With 22,000 customers still without power last night, 12 days after the storm struck, Cabinet will today be updated on the impact on the energy grid.
