Gardaí are investigating shots fired at two homes in Co Galway in the early hours of Tuesday.

Reports were made of a firearm being discharged at two residential properties in Ballinasloe at around 3:50am.

No one was injured in the incident.

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses and information, and have asked anyone who may have seen a dark-coloured saloon car at St Grellan’s Terrace or the surrounding areas to get in touch.

Anyone who was in the St Grellan’s Terrace, Brackernagh or Ballinasloe areas between 3:30am and 4:30am and may have mobile phone or dashcam footage is asked to share it with gardaí.
