'A menace on our roads': Gardaí catch 375 drivers speeding during cold snap

Despite repeated warnings of treacherous conditions on roads nationwide amid the ongoing cold snap, gardaí have said that 375 motorists have been caught breaking the speed limit over the past 72 hours.

One motorist in Dublin was clocked doing 121km/h on a 60km/h stretch of the Navan Road while in Galway, a pair of motorists were detected travelling 99km/h and 97km/h on a 50km/h zone of the Dublin Road.
