Memorial fund set up for 'beautiful and kind' woman stabbed to death in Mallow

Paula Canty's body was found in her rented apartment in Mallow on Friday.

The young woman who was stabbed to death in North Cork was looking forward to a bright new year start with her loving family and her good friends, her heartbroken mother has revealed.

Sinéad Canty spoke out on Monday as she launched a memorial fund in honour of her “beautiful and kind” daughter, Paula Canty, 31, who was found dead in her flat in Mallow on Friday, just days before her 32nd birthday.
