Social Democrats leader Holly Cairns welcomes baby girl on day of general election

Social Democrats leader Holly Cairns has given birth to a baby girl, the party has confirmed.

In a post on Instagram, Ms Cairns confirmed that her baby arrived as the country went to the polls.
