Microsoft investigating Outlook and Teams outage as users left without email

Microsoft is investigating after an outage left users unable to access email accounts.
DownDetector.ie, a site that tracks website outages, reported the issues were first being highlighted at around 8am.
"We're investigating an issue impacting users attempting to access Exchange Online or functionality within Microsoft Teams calendar. For more information, please refer to MO941162 in the admin center," the company said.
The note said users may have trouble accessing email via Outlook as well as problems with using the calendar function in Teams.
The company later added it has "identified a recent change which we believe has resulted in impact".
"We've started to revert the change and are investigating what additional actions are required to mitigate the issue."
