Tributes paid to Naval Service chaplain Fr Des Campion

Tributes have been paid to Fr Des Campion, who served as the Naval Service chaplain for close to four decades.

Fr Campion, who stood as Navy chaplain from 1988 to 2024, was “a guiding light and source of comfort to all who served”, according to the Irish Naval Service.
