More than €100k recovered as part of terrorist financing investigation

In excess of €100,000 cash in various currencies was seized, along with electronic devices and documentation.

Gardaí have recovered more than €100,000 in cash as part of an investigation into the suspected financing of a terrorist organisation.

Officers in the south and east carried out a number of searches of three private residences in connection with the investigation on Friday.
