Cyclist, 30s, dies following crash in Co Monaghan

A cyclist has died following a single-vehicle crash in Co Monaghan last weekend. 

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to the collision involving a cyclist which occurred at Gort an Teannal in Knockatallon at approximately 1.15am on Saturday, September 21.

The cyclist, a man in his 30s, was seriously injured in the incident and was conveyed from the scene to Enniskillen Hospital for treatment. 

On Thursday, gardaí confirmed that the man died in hospital on Tuesday night. 

Any road users who may have camera footage and who were travelling in the area at the time of the incident have asked to make this footage available to investigating gardaí.
