Ireland is fully entitled to ban trade with illegal Israeli settlements, experts say

Ireland is fully entitled to pass the Occupied Territories Bill and ban all trade with illegal Israeli settlements despite existing advice from the Attorney General, two senior EU trade law experts have said.

A new legal opinion, authored by Takis Tridimas and Panos Koutrakos argues that Ireland is able to pass the Occupied Territories Bill through the Oireachtas and into Irish law.
