Postmasters 'baffled' by union's stance on their employment status

Postmasters have said they are "baffled" after their union said they remain self-employed contractors after the publication of a legal opinion.

The Irish Postmasters’ Union had commissioned the opinion from a Dublin-based solicitors’ firm stating that a key question arising from a Supreme Court ruling from last October regarding employment status does not apply to the situation of postmasters.
