Irish tourist dies in fall from 31st floor of hotel in Thailand

The Department of Foreign Affairs said it is aware of the death and is providing consular assistance.

Police are investigating the death of an Irish tourist who fell from the 31st floor of his five star hotel in a tourist resort in Thailand.

The man, who was 67, reportedly fell from a balcony at the Grande Centre Point Pattaya Hotel in Pattaya at approximately 5.06am local time.
