Man, 40s, killed in crash involving car and truck in Kildare

The R448 remains closed from Junction 4 of the M9 to Castledermot, and local traffic diversions have been put in place.

A man in his 40s has died in a crash involving a car and a truck in Co Kildare. 

Gardaí and emergency services personnel remain at the scene collision, which happened at Barnhill East in Castledermot at approximately 9.20am on Monday.
