More than €10m worth of cocaine seized at Dublin Port

€10.5m worth of cocaine, seized at Dublin Port

More than €10m euro of cocaine has been seized at Dublin Port.

Investigators attached to Revenue and the Garda National Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau seized the cocaine on Tuesday.

They had been concealed in a freight container that had recently arrived in to Dublin Port.

Gardaí say that the cocaine has an estimated worth of €10.5m.

Investigators with Revenue and the Garda National Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau said the 150kg of cocaine was seized on Tuesday.

This seizure was part of Revenue’s ongoing joint investigations involving organised crime groups and the importation, sale and supply of illegal drugs

Spokespeople for both Revenue and Garda ísaid investigations are ongoing.
