Woman arrested in connection with alleged assault of man in Dublin

Gardaí say that investigations into the alleged assault in Dublin 12 are ongoing.

A woman has been arrested in connection with the alleged assault of a man in Dublin on Sunday.

The incident occurred around 6.20pm near the Long Mile Road in Walkinstown, Dublin 12.

A man has been taken to St James' Hospital for treatment. His condition is described as serious but stable.

A woman has been arrested in connection with this incident.

She is currently being held at a Garda station in Dublin, under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984.

Gardaí say that investigations are ongoing.
