Family of American who drowned in Grand Canal thanks public for support

A Kerryman and US national drowned in the Grand Canal last week.

The family of one of two men who drowned in the Grand Canal in Dublin just over a week ago has thanked people for their support and kindness ahead of a celebration of his life.

Alex Warnick, who was a native of Oregon in the US, died alongside his friend, Donal Scanlon, a native of Ballybunion, Co Kerry, on July 6.
