A man who died after being found unresponsive in the early hours of the morning in Majorca on Monday has been named as Irish man Michael Grant.

The 45-year-old physiotherapist had been holidaying with his family when he collapsed.

A death notice appeared on rip.ie on Monday saying Mr Grant had "died suddenly whilst on holidays with family & friends".

It said he is formerly of Morrisons Rd in Waterford and is a founder of St Joseph’s Juvenile Academy.

The notice said he is "deeply mourned and forever loved by his heartbroken wife Leanne, his four children Kayley, Niamh, Shay and Sofia, his devastated parents Michael (Sam) and Marie (Grant), sisters Jeannette, Deborah and Deirdre, brothers and best friends Brian and Alan."
